...A shop vac would not be adequate for the tablesaw. And if you buy a dust collector, I would indeed advise getting a shop vac or some other dust extraction system for the smaller tools. Although technically, you could get away with using the dust collector for a while, especially at close range. But you might simply wind up air starving the dust collector. So really, this is one of those times I whole heartedly recommend both.

Shop regulations
- No combustibles stored within 3' of wood stove
- No VOC or flammable liquid storage in the wood stove half of the shop
- No VOC or flammable liquid use when the wood stove is being used.
- Do not store lumber on table saw, its outfeed table or the Slide Mitre Saw and its outfeed table
- Do not store framing lumber or pressure treated lumber in shop
After working on a project:
- use blower or shop vac on stationary tools and their tables
- use blower or shop vac to clean workbench and tools and shelves around it
- empty table saw dust bag if more than 1/2 full
- cut up scrap suitable for burning into stove size pieces
- empty trash if more than 1/2 full
- sweep or vacuum floor
- sharpen/replace any blades that have been dulled, replace any that or are warped or damaged.
for shop and pool room
- no smoking anywhere in shop/garage
- no butts on ground outside
- return pool table to pool table state before leaving
- no drinking and using power tools except drills
- if guests need something they need to ask Noah, Peri or Tim
