Arrival Instructions for Cancun Airport
After you pass immigration service, pick up your luggage, pass through customs and head up to the exit door, please make sure to take the corridor for Ground Transportation / Tour Operator / Hotel Shuttle and NOT Family and friends corridor, get out the exit door and you will see an area where some travel representatives are waiting for other people and holding signs, our airport greeter will be holding a sign with the logo of DISCOVERYMUNDO. If you can't locate him just get any public telephone at the airport and dial the local phone number as follows: +52 55 4161 4826 / +52 998 980 0322 You can also connect to the free Wi-fi Airport signal and contact us via email support@discoverymundo.com or online chat to get immediate assistance on where to find our representative.
WARNING! After you clear customs you probably will be approached by numerous solicitors in your way to the exit door trying to divert you from leaving the arrival gate, sometimes they request you to show them your passport or your transportation voucher. DO NOT stop and talk to these Information/Transportation solicitors as they will take up 30 minutes of your time peddling off tours, invitations to timeshare presentations or not requested information which only leads you to false promises and the most important, loss of your transportation service.
Also you will note a lot of people shouting loud from their booths the word "taxi", do not approach to them to ask about your transportation since they will try to sell their own transfer at higher prices, they can say things about our company like: "They are not here", "Don't know this company", "They just left", "They asked me to take care of you", do not pay attention and keep walking; sometimes they even fake to call us on your behalf which they never do, so shall you call us, please make sure to dial yourself the indicated number.
After you leave the exit door you will see people holding signs, our representative will be there holding a sign with our company logo and/or your name, and can be contacted via email or phone at any moment if you get confused.
Terminal 1: It has just one exit. You exit directly to pick up area after picking up your luggage. Just be sure to look for our rep holding the previously mentioned sign. Wedding Weekend/Activites: November 8th to 10th (wedding the 11th).
Friday 8th Welcome Cocktail at 5 pm in the Evening at Buho's Beach Bar.
Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th: Our families will be relaxing at the North Beach, probably venturing into town for a tasty taco, a little beach volleyball, snorkeling, diving etc. Please feel free to join or do something at your own pace!
