re acct: 155007685143

Dear ATT;

My family has been a customer of ATT (and directv) for many years. In late January or early February I called since needed to add Mexico calling. In the process I was offered a free tablet. I was skeptical and wanted nothing to do with added monthly charges or new contracts and I told the sales person so. They persisted saying there would never be any monthly charges as long as I never activated mobile data and that no new contract was required. We never activated mobile data.

Today I was going over our bill to evaluate this $25off promotion I got on my directv account and I noticed I was getting charged in spite of your sales staff's assurances. I called to get the charges removed, talked to Chris#1660539, was refused my request and told the supervisors were too busy to talk to me. I asked to be called but was never called.

We want the activation fee and all monthly charges removed. If you want I will send back the tablet. I could probably replace it at best buy for $50.

Please accede to our request. It makes little corporate sence to alienate a customer over a $12/month charge, particularly a customer with a big family calling plan and a long standing extensive directv account (9619209). But alienate us you will if you do not address this, and apologize for what I am sure is a corporate wide upsell scam.

We look forwward to you timely response.

Peri, Noah and Tim McKenna
