All you need is a temperature sensor and maybe a motion detector in each room that has a zonevalve/circulator

Interface box has wires for each zonevalve/circulator, an outdoor thermostat and thermostats of each room. At the center is a microprocessor and memory that stores the schedule and keeps a history. There is a serial interface - wifi web interface that accesses the data and displays and modifies the settings.
