			Try to use recent examples, it's much easier to provide details for a recent experience. This question is asked to see if potential employees have critical thinking skills and self-awareness. If you can come up with an example that relates to the position you're applying for that would be even better. Have a good questions ready about the position, opportunities for training or skill improvement, and other questions related to the job. The interviewer is looking for an answer that indicates you've thought about where you want to work.

			Phone Interview : Reverse a string, determine if string is a palindrome, given an array that contains duplicates find the only non-duplicate element.

			Design SQL database for an ecommerce application and write various queries. Practice database questions from Leetcode. It helps !

			Onsite : Find the depth of a binary tree, Given an array of size N and a random number M (M < N), generate an array of size M that contains random element from the main array (this is in CTCI)

			Design classes, methods, etc to find N most visited urls Used priority queue

			I am a finalist in this rather grueling interview process for a job at Mathworks. I'd be a front-end developer on one of the teams working on the initiative to move portions of MATLAB and Simulink to the web. So far I've had phone interview, two one hour tech hangouts with shared screens and code review and problems, 48 hrs to complete a coding challenge, another hour interview with HR, a 6 hour visit to Natick giving a one hour presentation to a room of software developers, then 4 hours of interviews with whiteboard algorithms on the fly and coding at a computer while explaining my rationale.

			It would be an interesting job for me and harkens back to my time at CNS where I got to work with so many brilliant people from different fields.

			The team was very interested in the work that was going on at CNS and though this position doesn't use MATLAB, they are keen on hiring staff who are adept at using their products.

			I am a finalist in this rather grueling interview process to work as a software developer at Mathworks. It would be a good job for me, pretty far from teaching writing though I ended up in one interview making a connection between creating software and the writing process.
